Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Creatures: X Ray Picture Book (X-Ray Picture Books)
Published in Paperback by Franklin Watts, Incorporated (April, 1995)
Authors: Kathryn Senior and Carolyn Scrace
Average review score:

Wonderful addition for our son's growing dinosaur collection
I actually found this book at our library and rushed here to buy it after my first glance through it. It resembles the Dorling Kindersley publications, yet has new information I haven't come across before! The spiral timeline alone is fabulous for growing fascinations, such as that of our 4 year old son. New dinosuars we have previsouly discovered are enclosed, and the illustrations of muscles and organs alone are worth the purchase - everything I've come across until this point has been pictures of bones or illustrations of a complete dinosaur. A definite addition to compliment your resources on dinosaurs!

A Great Book That Is Better Than Most
This book is great. Not only does it start out with the basics, it then takes you deeper, showing you supplies that are really worth gettting. After they show you the basics, they talk about different brush strokes, and color mixing. They show you why acrylic is such a great medium, and the different effects you can achieve using it. Then they begin to talk about light, and have an example painting that you can paint along with. They cover many different forms. Get this book if you want to know about acrylics.

Dog Tales: How to Solve the Most Troublesome Behavior Problems of Man's Best Friend
Published in Paperback by Warner Books (June, 1989)
Authors: Ray Mc Soley, Larry Rothstein, and Ray McSoley
Average review score:

A wonderful source for solving behavioral problems
I found Ray's antedotal appraoch to behavioral problems very refreshing. By showing exactly what the owners were doing wrong, I was able to see if my problems were similiar enough to warrent the same correction. Ray really respects the fact that not all dogs are the same and as a result, he presents several remedies for the reader to try. In general, Ray showed me that we are always teaching our dogs, whether we want to or not. As a result, I am much more aware of timing, proper corrections and how I interact with my puppy. A must read for all of us lucky enough to have a dog in our lives.
